Ok, so I finally created a blog of my own.
My own ranting space to rant about, well practically everything there is to rant about.

I guess a little introduction is in place here, while I'm trying to figure out how to update the personal info bit.

I'm Tom, pen-name Meek - pronounced like the verb 'make' for you English people out there (sue me for having a Dutch nickname) - I'm 19 years of age, and I just quit university last week.
Which leads to one of the reasons why I created this blog. I figured since I got more than enough time left, when I'm not out searching for a job, I could maintain a weblog to sum up my daily adventures (or lack thereof), my takes on anything I come across, and to practice my English writing skills.
As you may have noticed by now, I'm not a native English speaker. So being a Dutchman and all, this kind of writing let's me practice my skills in a serious, non-chat-short-speak, way. Which might come in handy if I ever get some serious writing aspirations.

The things that usually keep me busy during the day are: watching anime and reading manga, and aimlessly browsing the internet. Yes, I know, DULL! BORING!! ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE GEEKS!!! Well, maybe, or maybe not. It depends on what I write about them in here, doesn't it?
Also I like to be on a dancefloor swirling around ballroom/latin-style. I got my first competitions coming up, so that's going to be exciting.

I think this suffices quite nicely for an introduction at the moment. Next update is going be somewhere around midnight or tomorrow, whenever I feel like writing what happened today, besides the fact of my starting my own blog....
