Tally up!
So it's the end of december again, the end of the year 2005.
November went along, we had the biggest traffic jam in history which was almost 3 times longer than the country is wide.
Sinterklaas, (it's the person Santa Claus originated from, and he celebrates his 6 december birthday on the 5th of december - I never quite got that though...) came and went without giving me shit. I got a kiss on the cheek from a zwarte piet though, (black peter in english, yes he's black and is a slave to Sinterklaas) which left me with a smudge of black.
In the mean time christmas approached and it looked like I had to spend it alone, again. And it turned out just like that, again. My dad, however, sent me a christmas present in the form of some hard cash, which I spent on a nice present for myself; some expensive eu de toilette: Declaration by Cartier. Smells goooood.
So now that the holidays have gone and only new year's is left, I can look back on what some might consider a bad year for me. I quit my education, worked a lot, and completely lost my way on the path of life.
However I do have the time now (actually I got too much time) to think things through and learn more about myself. I had some interesting thoughts, which I collect in a little black notebook, on the weirdest things and some conclusions in there are absolutely insane. And I finally had some time to let my imagination run loose and write some drafts for a couple of stories. I decided to start writing semi-seriously when I get my Apple Powerbook in about a month or 2.
Also the money I earned, and am still earning, comes in quite handy. Not only for savings but also stuff like clothing, a powerbook, normal books, accessories, and whatever.
The only thing I'm not too happy about, is my dancing. I hoped to put more time into it, which I actually did, and I am improving. But unfortunetly I'm not too blessed with finding a partner who wants to put a lot of time into it. Thus leaving me on a competitively lower level than I was on when I started out.
Now I've still got a party tonight, for which I have to find out how to tie a necktie, and then the big splash tomorrow night going into 2006.
The year will go out with a bang, just like it started.
